Open Door Food & Essentials Drive | Together, We Can Make a Difference!

As many families begin to feel the impact of SNAP benefits ending, our community along with our sister communities proudly owned and managed by Continental Properties are coming together to lend a helping hand. We’re partnering with The Open Door AND with our general community members to collect food and everyday essentials for local families who could use a little extra support right now.
 

We’re collecting:
 

Non-perishable foods — canned goods, pasta, rice, cereal, etc.

Perishable foods — milk, eggs, bread, and produce (accepted day of event only)

Household items — toilet paper, paper towels, cleaning supplies

Hygiene items — soap, shampoo, toothpaste, deodorant, feminine care

Winter wear — coats, hats, gloves, scarves for all ages

Baby & child items — diapers, wipes, formula, baby food, children’s hygiene items, and gently used clothing

AND! and accepting cash or gift card donations (Target, Walmart, Cub, Aldi, etc.) to help families purchase what they need most.

Locations Participating: Springs at Lakeville, Springs at Apple Valley, Springs at McKnight Lake, Springs at Lake Elmo and The Grove!
 

Every item helps — whether it’s a can of soup, a cozy pair of gloves, or a pack of diapers, your kindness makes a real difference.
 

You can drop off donations during the event or anytime leading up to it at any of the locations listed above! We will have the entry vestibules available any day, any time, for a friend or loved one to also come in and grab anything they need.
