Description

The Friends of the Lakeville Heritage Library annual book sale fundraiser will take place Sept. 15-18 at the Lakeville Heritage Library. There are thousands of books to choose from for only $1 a book!

Some of the genres include children’s board and picture books; children, teen and young adult fiction/non-fiction and popular series; adult fiction/nonfiction such as mystery/suspense; historical fiction; thrillers; romance; biographies; memoirs; history; parenting; self help; business/careers; arts and crafts; sports; spirituality, religion, social science and more!

Sale hours are:

Thursday, Sept. 15, 9 AM to 7:30 PM
Friday, Sept. 16, 9 AM to 4:30 PM
Saturday, Sept. 17, 9 AM to 4:30 PM
Sunday, Sept. 18, 1 PM to 4 PM

All books are $1 through Saturday. There is a $5 bag sale on Sunday. Shoppers can purchase a bag at the door for $5 and fill it with books. There is a $25 fee to use a scanner; free to members of the Friends of the Lakeville Heritage Library. Cash or check payments only.

Proceeds from the sale are used by the Friends of the Lakeville Heritage Library to help support library and community literacy and art programs. We provide funding for books, prizes, supplies and more.

Some of the programs we support include: Summer Discovery reading programs for ages birth to grade 12; Winter Reads; Visit Kits to enable positive and engaging interactions between people with dementia and their caregivers; Winter Arts Series for Kids at the Library; Community Art Day at the Library; Dist. 194 Ready Set Achieve!; ECFE Fall Resources Fair/“Baby Shower” for New Parents; and more.

Accepting Book Donations Sept. 8-14
Please drop off your donation of gently used books in the Large Meeting Room (accessible near the children’s area) during library hours from Tuesday, Sept. 8 – Wednesday, Sept. 14.
