Elizabeth Wright established The Moments in 2016 as the fulfillment of a personal mission: to create the kind of community she searched for — but never found — when two of her beloved family members required memory care years ago.
Elizabeth’s goal was to provide an entirely new option to families with a loved one going through the stages of Alzheimer’s and dementia — a community that honors residents with a beautiful, thoughtfully designed environment and surrounds them with warm, attentive care.
Fueled by this passion to improve memory care and equipped with a professional background in residential construction, Elizabeth set out to create a memory care community unlike anything the nation had ever seen. She assembled a highly experienced team of innovators to rethink every aspect of the traditional memory care model. Together, that team developed detailed plans for a memory care community dedicated to delivering the very best that life has to offer, moment by moment.
The result of their research, hard work and collaboration is The Moments, a preeminent destination community for those seeking a better approach to every aspect of their loved ones’ care.
The Moments began as a first-of-its-kind specialized memory care community with 32 residential suites in Lakeville, Minnesota, and has now expanded to a three-building campus featuring 92 residential suites, a gorgeous garden and an outdoor enrichment space.
